TOPIC: 450mb jos_dtregister_session size

Hi,

My database jos_dtregister_session table slowly grew up, and now reaches a whopping 450mb in size. Aren't sessions supposed to last a configured amount of time (60 seconds default in the config)? Is there any way to clean up this entry so it takes up less space? Not that this is too much for the database itself, but when I want to make backups, they do take 450 extra mb every time...

Anyways, thanks for any input on this as I could not find much info on the forum or elsewhere.

Old thread but has anyone a method to clean this up. I can't transfer the DB to a new hosting as the file size is too big mainly due to this single table.

I running 2.8.11 but it looks like it an issue with all versions.

This might help others as I just cleared the table without any issues
