We have an event this week and I have some people locally trying to register and were not able to do so. Nothing they did worked. I found out they were using IE and they were trying to register as a group using paypal.
I changed the image to a couple and changed the text to married couple instead of group. Other than that, I didn\'t do anything else. It works fine in Firefox but nothing I do makes it work in IE. I\'m not sure how many people may have tried registering and couldn\'t get through. Try this on IE and let me know if anyone has a solution.
For serious support items, you need to submit a support ticket... not a forum post. Create the ticket and provide admin access to Joomla so we can check it out and make sure you have everything setup correctly. Also provide FTP access so we can fix any bugs, if there are any. Thanks.
Sorry about that, I figured this would be better viewed in the open for anyone else having the issue and possible solutions. I just submitted a ticket.
Ok, I\'ve submitted a ticket and have yet to receive any type of response. The event is this week and the best I could do was to place an indicator that there are issues with IE and our registration system. Since the ticket has not been commented on, does anyone else have any type of reply as to what could be happening?
Your ticket has been solved so you should have received notice.
For those playing along at home... this problem was due to a conflict with mootools in Joomla 1.5 and another java element in our component. it was fixed on jeridhill\'s site.
