TOPIC: Member Discount

I have set up a $50 discount for Members. I am having one issue.

Members have to login first to get the discount otherwise they get charged the full fee. We have sent out notices and put on the registration page to be sure to login or they will not get the discount.

However, non-members who are just registred users of our site also get the discount. Is there a way to restrict it to just members. In other words can i restrict it to usertype "author". Right now i think its allowing it for anyone who is usertype "registered". Or is there some other way to do this? Any help is much appreciated.

Currently, there is not outside of customizing code. It just checks to see if you are logged in presently... doesn't check what type of user you are.

We do have plans to soon enhance this for the Joomla 2.5 version. It is doubtful that we will make any such further enhancements to the 1.5 version at this point.
