TOPIC: HELP! Terms & Conditions not appearing

Help required!!
I have a series of events created. And these events have text in the Terms & Conditions which are enabled.

However, the pop up box does not show the message of the Terms & Conditions. It's BLANK!!

Could someone advise how to to troubleshoot this?!

I need the Terms & Conditions to show.

It is urgent.

Using Joomla v1.5
DT Register v2.6.9a

Hello. Why are you still using 2.6.9? That is about 1 1/2 years old... little older even actually. We do not support that series any longer.

Most likely, it's a permissions issue though. In that old version, if permissions were not correct, the terms would not work right. Make sure all directories are 755 and files are 644. This should apply from the top level of Joomla directories on down.

But in which directory or files should those be changed to 755 and 644 respectively?!

Just had a quick look, and seems that the files are 0755 and 0644.
So, what could be the issue? Any solution?

Apparently, the pop ups don't work on all browsers.

Using 2.6.9 because the system was developed in late 2010.
Not upgraded because we're afraid that it would implicate other parts of the website.
