BTW, I love you product. All those other people don't know a good thing when they see it.

Simple question, I have registered for an event (as a trial to bug fix) using paypal. An joomla user account was NOT setup for the registration. Therefore only the admin can access the registrant and records.

I know I must process the paypal refund manually, but not sure about updating the Records or generating emails.

Is the cancellation and refund process found anywhere? Its not in the manual and not in the forums that I found.

Question: How do I, as the administrator, cancel a registrant or mark the registrant as cancelled?

Question: Can this be done from the front end anywhere or only b/e?

Question: It doesn't seem to matter if I'm the event administrator or not. There appears to be no option to cancel that I can find even though I have selected EVENT >> USER PANEL >> Give Refund after Cancellation: >> Yes

Question: How do I get it to generate the email that a registrant is cancelled (and or refunded if I put it in the email text)?

Thanks
Tim

Thanks Tim!

If you want users to have access to do their own cancellations, you must have them create a user account during the event registration or create the account first.

Yes, you must process the refund manually. The admin would open the record to edit it.

- Change the status to "Cancelled" and the amount paid amount to 0.00 or whatever is appropriate. Also modify the paid status as needed.
- Make sure the status change email and/or paid status change email is enabled and setup inside of configuration. This will automatically send the user an email when the admin modifies the status or the paid status. This would be the notification to the user of the changes... in this case, the refund.
- Process the actual refund outside of DT Register using PayPal or whatever gateway you use.

Thanks!
