Lately when I try to run a search on my records nothing happens for a while and then I get an Internal Server Error. This happens almost every time.

Also, customers have reported the registration attempts failing and there was one corrupted record missing required details.

My host informs me that processes are getting killed because they are running too long.

I tried updating to the latest version of DTregister, but it didn't help.

I tried switching from shared to private (dedicated) hosting for more memory, but that didn't help.

Next I'm going to try to modify my php.ini file to let processes run longer.

I archive events that are past to keep the records list down, but maybe I have too many records?

Any thoughts? Could use some help.

I've got 867 records in the list.

I modified the php.ini file but that didn't help. Now I just have to wait longer before I get the Internal Server Error.

For some reason the records search function is running without getting anywhere.

This is very inconvenient.

That's a first for a search issue like this to be reported. 867 records is not a lot. Many DT Register users have thousands of records.

I'd recommend submitting a support ticket with admin access so we can check it out. Tell us an example search query you are using that fails. Do all searches fail?

A typical search is just a person's name, first, last or full.

Since the issue was reported to me all but one of the searches I've run has failed.
