This is the error I get when clicking on the links to take me to the event details page from the calendar view or from clicking the links in the upcoming events menu:

500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: 65,html,contentView

Both the calendar and upcoming events are configured to go to the event details page and the correct page is chosen, as well as the category.

Addressed in your ticket, but I'll answer the double-post here in case it helps someone else :)

The problem was your setup. As you should have, you had a category blog menu item for your "Events" article category. Then you had the ItemID for that menu item properly placed in the ItemID override parameter for the events. Good on all of that :)

The problem came in that you had unpublished this menu item. So you told DT Register to use it, then you unpublished it. I published the menu item then it all started working again.

As you clearly didn't want that menu item to display, I created a new menu called "Unpublished" and moved the category menu item into that new menu. So, it can remain published, but not actually seen on the website. Thanks!

i have done this - i have published a category blog menu item, but I am still getting a 500 error with the "details" button on my event registration page. The generated URL is not including "article" when making the link to component/content/article/84

VERY frustrating!! how to fix??

when i do include the override article ID - then the "details" button does not publish

just upgraded to 2.7.14 on a J 1.5.25 site

STILL not working.

On Event Registration page - "details" button not working. Upcoming Events Module - with parameters set to go to details page - not working. Both error out with 500.

Now, my May event isn't even showing up on the calendar after i put in the new version.

In the event parameters, if I specify the article ID override, the details button doesn't even publish.

I have established and published a "category blog" menu item as well.

I have wasted way too many hours on this to get it to work and then not work. GRRRR!!!

It works great on one event, and then not on the others even though their parameters are exactly the same. And it was working on one of my 3 events, and now it doesnt.

I can give access if needed.

ellare - the ID override is NOT an Article ID. It's an ITEMID. We can take a look if you submit a ticket. Give details as to what events have the issue.
