Hi folks,

I'm pretty new to DT Register and just installed the latest version 2.7.12. Playing around I wondered if there is any way to show up other joomla user fields than "email" when a user is about to register for an event (of course the user has logged-on to the site before). The event registration component I've used before allowed one-click registration for logged-in users and I'd like to provide the users a similar approach having pre-populated fields like UserID and/or Username.
I neither have CB nor JomSocial installed, but understood from another post that CB integration needs to be selected (before I didn't even got the email field filled).
Is there a way to get such user fields info to the registration form? Did I missed something in the setup?
Thx,
Stefan

Presently, only the email auto-populates when using only the core Joomla user system. Your only other option would be name anyway. I'd suggest incorporating Community Builder, then you have full control over the profile data and can sync any DT Reg field with any profile field... for auto-population. Plus you'd have the addition of users having a profile where they can see their registration history.

Well, I'm going to check out using CB. Would upgrading to Joomla 1.7 give me more options on this issue as well, or stay the limitations the same?
