We're running DT Register 2.7.12 and updated from 2.6.x. We followed the steps in the upgrade process to the letter but we're having trouble with event registration.

Everything works fine through the event registration process until we get to the information verification screen.

The text on the page reads:

"Please check the data below and confirm that everything is correct. If so, click the NEXT button. If not, click the BACK button below and make the necessary corrections."

Followed by the registration details and a "Back" and "Next step" button. Clicking "Next step" button and nothing happens. Verified this in Chrome, Safari and Firefox both in individual and group registrations. Clicking "Back" takes the user back to the contact fields and can edit and go forward to same screen. "Next step" still doesn't work.

Noticed the URL also changed to index.php?option=com_dtregister&Itemid=0 at that point, as if it's losing the event URL details.

Any ideas?

Hi - I can offer a comment ahead of any official response - It'll 99% be because of some other 3rd party plugin / module you have active... I've experienced this same issue before and it's been, in my case, because I had a jQuery 'simplifier' plugin installed - and another time it was something else... but both prevented the 'Next' button working... My solution sadly was to stop using the 3rd party products that I wanted... Not sure if it's something that could be improved in the DT Reg code to make it more compatible with other things... but to solve your issue for now, try disabling some of your installed 'extras' on your site....

Thanks for your suggestion, andybon. This was my first thought as well. I double checked again before replying. Thankfully I don't have the JQuery simplifier installed.

This is a customer site that uses some specific, premium addon components like DT Register, but none of these should be conflicting. Stuff like Acymailing, ChronoForms. These were all present before upgrading DT Register to the latest version and everything was working just fine prior to the update.

I do however still have JEvents installed as the older version required it. I configured DT Register to not use this feature anymore, but I've yet to uninstall it.

I'm having the same problem. I don't have any other components installed. I think that it might be something in the template. Some problem with a java script conflict or something. Any help would be appreciated!!

I am having the same problem...two individuals who have tried to register for an active event have contacted me in the past few days with this issue. One was able to solve it by repeatedly refreshing and re-submitting...the other gave up and emailed me registration info. Any ideas would be appreciated...we are in our critical stage of registration for this event.

I opened a ticket and gave them access. They were able to make a discovery and this is what they said:

I have DT Register working on your site again. We did a "band-aid" fix to make it work. There is a conflict in your site that we haven't been able to determine exactly where it's coming from yet. I'd like to find that and make sure it is 100% solved. It's usable right now, but to make sure the issue is completely resolved and doesn't return, can you provide FTP access? That will help us to troubleshoot deeper and find where the actual source of the conflict is. Thanks!

So I gave them FTP access and we'll see what they find.

It's a little curious because no component has been added to the site before or after upgrading DT Register, so I don't understand what broke it. It's the same site template as well.
