Hi,

I just installed to the newest version of dtregister (2.7.9) with Joomla 1.5.23.
Unfortunately I´m not able to save any event.
Is there anything I missed? I can insert all data in the creation form, but when I click the save button, nothing happens.

If you can't save, then something is missing. You must have:

- event title
- start date AND time
- end date AND time
- admin notification email

That is all required. You'll see a red X near the date/time settings until you have valid details entered. Once the info is valid, you'll see a blue check and then be able to save.

I have the same setup and the same problem. The problem is that I can't seem to be able enter an event start/end date for some reason. I can click on the field, but it will not accept anything I type for a date. Clicking on the "..." button, which I assume should pop-up a calendar, does nothing. I have tried this in IE 9, FF 7.0.1 and Chrome.

Right now, I can't create any events...

I really hope this issue gets an answer. I have the same problem, cannot type anything into the date field.
Also, in configuration, i've entered my google maps api, hit save, nothing happens. if i navigate away from the page and return, the api is gone.
really need to see this resolved.

Guys... there is no DT Register bug involved in this. Items like this are best served through a ticket where we can actually see your site instead of playing guessing games in the forum :)

digitallachance - guessing... are the horizontal tabs loading properly in the event management area or is everything stacking up vertically? Most likely, you have a conflict with your editor or maybe another plugin in your site.

tanoah - same as above... but regarding configuration, if you can't save, then you are missing something required. When you try to save, does the email tab turn a bright red color? If so, check it. Resolve it. The From Name and From Email are required and you can't save config without it. If it saves, you'll know it. If the page just sits there, it's NOT saving.

I just wanted to offer my 2 cents... I think it would be very helpful if a hint to configure e-mails were offered at the top of the "General" tab - that will make it so much clearer what needs to be done before config can be saved. (Even though I have run into this before, it's hard to remember what must be done -- and today when I installed 2.7.10, the E-mail tab no longer turns red, so that isn't a hint any more!)
DT Register is a wonderful component -- thank you so much for all of the helpful upgrades you always make! :D
