TOPIC: Event is not showing up in events list

I have been using DT Register for years, but I recently upgraded to the newest release. I deleted my old installation and reinstalled. When I create an event under Events, it allows me to save it, but then the event does not show up in the list of events. It just disappears. It doesn't matter if I create the event in jevents first or as a new event. Please help. This is driving me crazy.

I have also verified that my event is not set to begin in the past. It was created manually in Jevents (and not imported). It is not recurring. Either way, it doesn't work whether I use Jevents or not.

One final bit of info. When I installed the new DT Reg, it pulled in some of my old events. Even when tell it to duplicate an event and change the date of the event to a date in the future, it STILL does not show up in my list of events.

Hello. Most likely problem... check your categories and make sure they are published. This is mentioned in the upgrade instructions from 2.6 to 2.7 but some people miss this little detail. If that's not it, submit a ticket so we can check it out.
