TOPIC: Captcha Image Missing

I'm using version 2.7.6a and the event is a simply online application which does not use SSL and there is no fee.

The security image is missing when I ticked "on" in the configuration tab? Any thoughts here as to why it's missing? All I get is the field input and the refresh but no image?

Yeah, it would be a PHP problem. You need to have the GD library installed including having FreeType support enabled.

There are no other reports of a problem with this... so it is very likely tied to something specific on your site. Next thing to try: make sure permissions are correct. Directories should be 755 and files 644. If that's fine, then next step is to update DT Register to the current version. After that, if the issue remains, submit a ticket so we can check out your site.

Thanks Nathan... I'll check also to see if I'm missing any files in the Components directory, maybe something didn't get installed. I'll install in MAMP to verify all files, however, I do see the CaptchaSecurityImages.php file.
