TOPIC: maps not showing

I am currently on joomla 1.5.20 and have DT Register version 2.7.5c. I have put in my location details (50 South Capitol Ave.Indianapolis, Indiana 46204) and in configuration I have it configured like below

Show location SHOW
Show google map link SHOW
Google maps key: ABQIAAAAsEmtBudMPOA5SJwMc4eNZxSdbvQXOygJLvEXGXyIzZFdWULYfhRFeAe80cY4_4mTgSIHUmR6a........
Location image max width 300
location max height 300

however when I go to the event details and select the location to pull up the information I get a blank white box. Do I need to enable something else? Do I need to enable the google maps API key and if so how?

The first step whenever you're having an issue is to update, especially when you are 3 major releases behind. If an issue remains, put this in a ticket so we can see it.

However, to be sure, you said "when you go to the event details and select the location"... but the location link is only seen on the list of events and the attendees list.

There isn't anything you have to enable to make the info show in the location window. If your box is blank, it's not just the map. I'd recommend turning error reporting to maximum in Joomla config and then see if you can get an error to show in the location window.

I am also getting this issue, did you manage to fix it?

I just get a blank box on the location. I've tried multiple locations, US,UK and others. I've tried loading a seperate Google Map too, That works without issue on the site.
