TOPIC: Apply Change Fee in Text Field

A text field has an "Apply Change Fee" option listed. I was hoping that this would take the amount in the text field and add it to the total registration cost, but it doesn't appear to do anything. Can anyone straighten me out on what this does? Thanks.

No, there is no method of entering an amount in a text field to be added to any calculation. The change fee option is explained in the tooltip and the video tutorials... but it is for the frontend user panel.

When users change their registration record in the user panel, the event has the option of having a change fee enabled. Checking the apply change fee box in a field means that if a user makes a change to this field in the user panel... and the event has a change fee... the fee will be added. Thanks.
