Hello, I am using dt register as an eticketing system.

can I just confirm something

When a group registers does it send each member an individual barcode ticket? (thanks email) or does it just send one ticket to the billing email?

There is a parameter in configuration where you can enable each group member to also receive the confirmation email. However, in a group registration there is still ONE confirmation number for the overall registration, not a separate number for each member in the group. Since the barcode is based on the confirmation number, there is one barcode for the group.

How can I make it so that each member gets a unique barcode? What would it take?

I have had a coder to build a barcode scanner app for this system.. Its not going to work if theres a group of 20 with the same barcode!

You'd have to modify first to get a confirmation number unique for each group member. DT Reg has never been setup that way before. We can dig into it once we finish 1.6/1.7 work. No more new features until that is done. We'll stick it on the list though

What kind of time frame do you think?

What about an easy modification to just duplicate the ticket holder database entries but with new barcodes? That way the customer can print out the multiple tickets and give them to their group members.

Sorry to interrupt but how are you planning on checking the tickets or confirming attendance? Are you using a barcode scanning program? Only reason I'm asking is because we're thinking of doing the same thing.
