TOPIC: Can't update using eWay Hosted Stored Payments

Hi,

I am on 2.7.3b using hosted eway set up as stored payment and have not been able to update to any of the later releases as errors occur after transaction. In real time the thank you message says

Event Registration: Payment
Transaction Error: Error: Required XML tag(s) missing, or incorrect case used. Required tag Name(s): ewayCustomerInvoiceDescription, ewayCustomerInvoiceRef, ewayTrxnNumber, ewayOption1, ewayOption2, ewayOption3


If I try and set it up as an eway stored payent as I currently have it using

define('EWAY_PAYMENT_LIVE_REAL_TIME', ' www.eway.com.au/gateway/xmlstored.asp ');

Then the message just stays on "Event Registration: Payment" and nothing happens.

I have tried the last few releases and each one does this, was hoping this would be resolved in the subsequent release but has not. Your swift resolution would be highly appreciated.

First of all, we have not built in any support for eWay's STORED payment option. You are modifying files to send payment info to the stored script. However, you can't just do that and assume it will work. We've never tested or stated that we had support for the stored option.

Second, many versions back, we made changes to the eWay integration in DT Register as we HAD to due to changes made by eWay. It works just fine now with the standard, intended usage. One parameter was added though which I assume you are missing. With the last number of releases, you will find the eWay settings in DT Reg pay options has a new parameter for the "eWay Username". This is required now by them. If you update, make sure you enter this in the settings or it's not going to work.

In the meantime, we'll look into adding the Stored payment option of eWay into the built-in, supported options for DT Register in future development.

You are right in that I had not spotted the new user name, now added. But even using as intended the real time payment does not go through. I still get this message.

I have downloaded the most recent version and when I install and try to make payment I just get the following instead of a thankyou for your order. No payment is taken.

"Event Registration: Payment "

I have flipped back to the old version that works for my site. Any help would be appreciated.
