Hi,

I have created a test event on my site http://www.ummahtimes.com/events . After creating it, I wanted to register for the event but was not able to do so. When I click on the register button nothing appears to happen?

Any help concerning this issue would be most appreciated.

Also I was curious to know how I can set up my events page in a way that I could have registered users create their own events. Like when they come to my events page the should be able to see a button "Create Event" or such. Thanks again.

I still am waiting for an appropriate response. I tried searching the forums as well as watching tutorials but I can't seem to figure where the problem is coming from. I do have joomSef and and RSfirewall. Could that be a reason? Please someone help.

I tried visiting your site. Your event is private, so you have to be logged in to register for the event. I tried registering for an account, and I got a joomla error trying to create a joomla user.

Try changing your event to public.

He submitted a ticket and after a quick look, his SEF component was not set to ignore DT Register. All fixed. :D
