TOPIC: coupon codes

I have registered some people in the backend of the system. I am however having some problems with getting the coupon code to work if I did not originally input the coupon code when inputting hte record. If I hit save and then go back in and try to apply the coupon the coupon code doesnt take. The person is registered and is in waiting status. I change the status to active and I put a coupon code for 100% of the cost and hit save however it does not update the record as having a coupon code and paid type as "free".

Any help?

You can't apply the coupon code AFTER the record is already created. You can however manually change the price of their record to 0.00 which will automatically set it as a Free record. No code needed to modify an existing record.
