I need to find out a way to get an invoice sent to "Pay Later Customers" via email and an invoice showing paid in full (receipt) for members that pay thru cc.
I do see that I can set up custom thank you messages for each event however I want a message that looks like an invoice.
I saw a message on here that said to create an html invoice. Is this a solution? If so how do I do this?
As you have the WYSIWYG editor to use when creating your emails, you can create an invoice type layout in there... just like you can style and format a content article, you can do the same with your email. You'd probably want to insert a table, so you have full control over the layout and place each item in a specific place in the layout. The JCE editor is best so if you don't have that, get it first.
However, you can not create one email that goes to credit card payees and a separate email that goes to pay later registrants. You'll need to create something that works for both.
Is there a joomla extension that works (or syncs) with DT register to provide invoicing/receipts? I see that you used to have DT billing however that its not compatible wtih joomla 1.5 which is what we are using currently.
Do you know of anything that works with DT register?
