We are new to DT Register, and recently installed it to handle an award entry event. There is no registration fee, per se, so that value is set to 0. The fees are calculated through several drop-down boxes for 1-x number of items, and there are different drop-down boxes according to member, non-member, and student status. So each entrant can have up to four dollar values which add up to the total cost.
We wanted to apply a 20% Early Bird discount across the board to all costs. We coded in the 20% Early Bird Discount until May 16, 2011, but it is not taking affect. Does Early Bird only apply to the Registration Fee?
Second problem is email. Our messages are coming through just fine, but neither administrators nor registrants are getting ANY emails. We are using DT Register 2.7.4b, and Joomla 1.5.15.
We have set up Thank You and Admin Notification emails through the Configuration Email tab. We have also set up Thank You and Notification emails through the Events Email tab (enabled). In the Event > General, I entered two email addresses (separated by
to receive notifications. I have the radio button below it set to No Repeat, which I presume means that the administrators will receive emails as registrations are created, rather than in a digest.
Are there any other options I need to set up to turn emails on? As you can imagine, this is very important so that the registrants have a record of their payment and so that we know when someone new has registered.
