TOPIC: Let user to publish event

I don't understand well if DTregister allow also users to publish their own event or not.. It seem is possible to choose maybe in the "Permission" tab of backend admin but this tab is disabled on your demo... Maybe is you can provide a screenshot of this tab it will be more clear for see all available options...

My goal is to let only Author to publish free event in some specific category. When Admin create an event from backend it must set many things... I would like a more simpler process for let user publish their events... Is possible???

Other question: I would like display all event created by users on their own Joomla articles... Do you have a module or plugin allowing to do that??

Go to create a menu item... select DT Register -> Event Management. This will give you frontend management tools for events. Only user types with permissions given in the backend permissions matrix will be able to access this frontend area.

There is not a module or plugin for users to display their own events they've created. Something like this will be coming though.

ok I got it...In fact I was confused because you have 2 different demo http://joomlaeventregistration.com and http://www.dthdevelopment.com/demo (where is not possible to see Event Management menu item)..

However the front end Event management is exactly the same then the back end... Probably because I logged in using your Admin demo user "demo1" with password "demo123"...

So in permission Tab is possible to restrict some settings for standard users (like Author) or not ? In fact I would like let user create event but only with some pre-configured option with possibility for they to change anything.. For example I would like allow only some basic setup to choose like date, price and some more thing but hide majority of others options...

is possible ?
