TOPIC: Upgrading from 2.7.3e to 2.7.4

Everytime I try to runt he upgrade it keeps telling me it can't find the install file? I see the XML file in the zip file, but still says it can't find the install file... any ideas? I had to reinstall 2.7.3e which worked file.... so it appears there is a problem with the zip file?

You've unzipped it on your PC/MAC first?

Then you choose the dir of your Joomla version (i suppose 1.5) and then you install the different components (see readme_dtregister_J15.txt).

Yes I unzipped it to my desktop and browsed to the Joomla 1.5 folder and then selected the zip file. Everytime says Install File not found.

Not a problem with the install package or the XML file. First, check your php configuration and make sure the setting upload_max_filesize is LARGER than 2M. If it's set to 2M, you will not be able to install unless you use the install from directory option. Increase that php setting and you should be fine.
