first thanks for that interesting intoduction today. I can only recommend it to interested people to get an overview about this great project!
We are still trying to get dth register so far, that users we authorize at permissions can create and edit their own events.
Mostly works now but there are a few questions:
1. How can Frontendusers see the records and change the ststus of the attendees to paid/unpaid status?
2. Mass email permission set - but I cant see a difference in the frontend for the user who gots permitted
3. Edit Config permission set - but same problem I cant see a difference as user in the frontend who is moderator
For future it will be helpful if we get the permission "edit own location only" and similiar as now a frontend user can either not create a location or he could change also the locations of other maybe competiting events.
Glad you were able to participate in the webinar today
1. Frontend access to records is not yet available. That is one of the final frontend pieces that is coming very soon.
2. Mass email is also not available yet on the frontend. Backend only presently. Coming soon.
3. The config permission setting applies to who has access to the main Configuration of DT Register, which is a backend only item... and will never be provided on the frontend. It has nothing to do with managing actual events though.
As discussed in the webinar today, we will be modifying soon so locations, categories, etc are able to be assigned to individual users. Will try to get these items available ASAP. Thanks.
Do you have a rough time frame for front end changes (1 & 2)? Sometime in the next month or farther out? Summer is my busy time for events and I need to determine if I should be pushing people onto my new system that is using DT Register or continue with my old shopping cart based system that had a simple custom admin section setup for the event owners.
Just as an example of features I found useful, I had the following options for my event owners:
1) Add Registration (for registrations they received by mail or in person)
2) Export all data via CSV
3) Mark Registrations Paid
4) Email users with recipients based on any of the following: all, paid, unpaid, custom selected
