TOPIC: Registrants being kicked out of registration

People have been trying to register and once they fill out their information, when hitting submit and after reviewing their information, they are being kicked back to the Events listings. This only seems to happen the first time trying. I've tried it and the second time I go through it works fine.

I'm not sure if this is because of the same issue, but when I log in to the backend, it never works the first time. I have to sign in twice for it to work.

Any solutions out there?

First make sure you have the latest DT Register in place. Second, this is almost positively NOT a DT Register problem. Sounds like you have some session or cache issues with your site. We recommend disabling any cache, which would include 3rd party cache plugins or template cache setting. Normally just causes issues. Just some ideas of things to check out.

Hmm. Disabled all the caching and still having issues with it. Actually seems to be getting worse, and won't even let me get past the first registration page anymore on the front end. Any other suggestions? Possible issues with DT and Community Builder interacting with each other? I'm pretty sure this is a separate issue from the backend login, as that issue has been going on for as long as we've used Joomla. This DT issue just arised in the past couple weeks. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

What version are you running? We released 2.7.4a today. Be sure to update. If you continue to have an issue, submit a ticket so we can check out your site. There is nothing in recent DT Reg packages that would cause this. This is almost certain to be a result of something else in your site. We can help track it down through a ticket, but make sure you are fully updated first.

I had this "problem" for awhile. If you're getting the same traditional login page, check the urls.
It turned our that as an addon domain the login page was resolving to the subdomain. So, I'd login to xxxx.com and that would then resolve to the login on xxx.yyy.com login page.
It was an easy fix, but right now, I can't remember - there's instructions online somewhere, probably in the joomla forum.
Or, if you see the grey dropdown login for the first login and that akes you to the traditional login page. you're using one of the admin tool components set to require a separate login to access the admin login page and it happens that both are set for the same user and password
