I am using DT Register 2.7.3 - I have added an event and use Authorize.net for payment processing. In two cases, users claimed to have clicked the submit order button once; however, two emails were generated, and two payments were processed for the same order at Authorize.net.
Is this a known bug, or is there a way to prevent these "duplicate" orders. I guess I would have thought that at the minimum the code would recognize that the same order is being processed multiple times.
I seemed to have this same problem last night using Authorize.net.
Registrant can only purchase one ticket at a time for $5. I do not use group registrations or the multi-event cart option so if they want to go back in and register a second person, they would have to go through the process again. The error I'm seeing is that I have one person that shows up in the registration records database twice at the exact same time with the exact same information except for different confirmation numbers with each payment being for $5. Authorize.net then shows one successful payment of $10 in its records.
As a follow up to my post. The woman told me that she went through the registration process once but could not get to the Pay button. So she started over. I'm not sure if it is the way the multi-event cart option is set up (even though it is turned off) but it appears her original data was stored somewhere as one registration while she went back in and entered new information. When she was able to get to the pay page, she then had two registrations. Since I wasn't using the cart option, she did not receive the screen where she could have cancelled one of the registrations.
