TOPIC: Event List Order not working as expected.

I'm using DT Register 2.7.3c

I have the Event List Order set to "Newest First", which from my understanding of the documentation should list the events by date, with the next upcoming event at the top of the list.

Instead, it seems to be sorting by category in some respect, or doing something else strange.

I am at a loss as to how to make my events list correctly by date. Is there something I need to do differently?

"Newest First" is showing correctly on your site, by date... but all ordering is displayed first by category... then by date WITHIN the category. There is no way to show all of the events in a manner that mixes up the categories.

So if I use Manual list order, will it display the events in the order I select?

Yes, but still within categories first.

So there's no way to display events in the event listing solely by date? This is a huge issue for my client, as they have multiple locations, but only 2 real classes of events, and want to display them by date (newest first) regardless of category.
