Just found an issue...

The main configuration area provides the option to set a custom "email subject" in the "Emails" tab. I have multiple events and need to set a different subject for each event. However, although you can customize the emails per each event, there is no option to customize the email subject per event - it is non-existent.

For example, for one event, I have a custom field named TEAMNAME - I would like the team name listed in the email subject so I can filter through these easily as these emails also get forwarded to a client. However, for a different event, there is no custom field TEAMNAME - so this wouldn't work. I would need a different custom field available for the subject line for the other event.

Is there any way to add custom email subject options for admin emails per event, not just under the Main Configuration?

First, there is NOT a custom email subject. You can customize the message per event, but the subject is general. Second, you can't use your own custom tags in the subject anyway. The subject is intended to allow use of [EVENT_NAME] and [EVENT_DATE], [STATUS] and [PAID_STATUS].

We, too, are interested in differentiating the subject to help organize registrations for various events. The note suggests that a subject could be customized using some known variables, but we do not see where to specify it. We'd be happy to include, for instance, the event name in the subject. How? Where?

Yes, the subject is intended to be dynamic. As stated already, you can use tags like:

[EVENT_NAME] - pulls in the event name dynamically
[EVENT_DATE] - event date
