TOPIC: Auto Populating Fields

I am using CB 1.4 to populate my fields. It is working well. However, I have a couple questions.

Is there a way to do a 2 way sync? If someone fills out the form in DT can it save to the mapped CB fields too in case anyone updated certain information?

Also is there a way to make an event registration ONLY available for registered users? What I would like the workflow to be like is this:

public-frontend user click on register for an event -> Says you have to be logged in to register and shows the CB account creation form -> After registration, go back to the form (which is now auto populated through CB to DT mapping) and can submit.

Can you get anything close to that?

Hello. DT Register will not update the user's profile. The only time it sends data TO CB is when it is creating a new user profile.

Yes, you can set the event as Private instead of Public. Then users will be forced to login prior to registering. In DT Reg configuration, you can set the private notification to be a message that you configure or a redirect URL, so you could send users to the CB login page if you wanted. Thanks.

That seems to be a lot of moving around for the customer.

Our events are held once a year every year (Event registration). There are 4 different ones.

Is there a way to easily auto populate the forms from last years submission? I do not want to use recurring events for something like this because a lot of people wouldn't be doing recurring or would switch between all of the events every year.

Registration forms will never auto-populate data from a previous registration done by the user. If you use profile integration, this is not an issue. Whatever data is in the profile will auto-populate into registration forms each year. You don't have to force them to login first... unless you need the record associated with their user account. It's no more moving around than what you described that you wanted in your initial post.
