TOPIC: [SOLVED] Users unable to edit registrations

Guys, we are working on this. Seems the edit process has a couple snags since the recent modifications for allowing partial payments within the user panel. Should have this ironed out for 2.7.4 which is just about done.

Any timeframe on 2.7.4? Thought it was coming last week?

Thanks for the response. While you are at it, could you guys please add a big green "save changes" button on each edit member page as many will just fill in their changes and exit out. Expecting them to back out of their existing path and then go all the way through the registration tree just to save their changes is not going to work for most people. Our customers tend to just exit out and then call us later to complain about making changes that don't do anything. Please pay attention to how the average user might think when using your product. Along that vein, changing the little pencil over notepad symbol to "edit" in the same big green button would be less confusing for them too.

I'm receiving lots of pressure to switch product so if you guys can be more responsive, pay more attention to squishing bugs then adding functions and address these kinds of user experience issues. You will do quite well. Thanks again and please let us know when it's fixed. I'm running out of time.

Guys, grab the new 2.7.4. Now the edit records in the user panel will not send you to payment options unless there is a change fee to be paid. We also added some instructional tags in the group edit pages to help make it clearer to users.

wtc - not going to argue anything with you, but we pay LOTS of attention to squishing bugs and addressing input and concerns of users. I don't know any other product that puts out more updates than we do for DT Register. The updates include fixes and enhancements based on USER INPUT. We turn down PAID customization requests for people every day as we put priority on addressing any known issues. Read the new announcement of 2.7.4... and any other announcement in the forum and you can see this is pretty clear.
