Hey guys - well, I think I massively screwed up the 2.7.3c install. I had upgraded first to 2.69 as instructed. That worked fine. Then, to make a long story short... I had to FTP the 2.7.3c zip files into a tmp/dtregister directory and upload that way.
I followed the instructions to migrate the 2.6 data, and that is when all hell broke loose - lost events and records, etc.
Admittedly, I panicked... and uninstalled 2.7 and reinstalled 2.69. My events came back... but the records did not.
Now, I don't have any information in my records other than registration date, payment, etc. (no names or contact info). I am also getting an insubstantiate mail problem when trying to process a new registration on either the front or back end.
Major screwup!
I am afraid to reinstall 2.7.3c again, but need to do something ASAP as we have a large registration period starting in the next couple of days.
I understand completely that DTH Support is backed up with tickets, so I was hoping that community members might be able to help me sooner than the hardworking support can address my mistake.
Is it possible to wipe DT Register SQL databases clean and start over? I can rebuild lost records manually - that is not a problem. It appears that my DBs have extra columns now ... and that I don't know how to remedy. Also, I am not familiar enough with SQL to know where to find these databases to search for the problem. I am not a developer - just a very amateur webmaster (unfortunately, I am tasked with maintaining the site!).
