No, not really. One reason could be that you have FTP enabled in the Joomla configuration, which is unnecessary. Disable that as it tries to login to your FTP using your joomla admin credentials by default, which is not going to work. It will still install, but give you an annoying error.

You could also receive a message similar to this if DT Register is unable to create the directories needed in the core Joomla /images directory. If this is the case, no worries, just manually create them. Check for these four folders... make sure they are there and writable:

/images/dtregister/barcode
/images/dtregister/eventpics
/images/dtregister/locations
/images/dtregister/uploads
