TOPIC: why is auto user creation not global any more?

Right, I understand the functionality it adds which is great. Im mainly using the auto-login requirement for events that we will be collecting partial payments on. I am having issues implimenting partial payment through DT register and CB. Shouldn't there be a place to finish payment on the registered events tab in the CB profile? I am not getting it.
