TOPIC: [SOLVED] Can't upload an event image

Hello,
I can not upload an event image.
I get an "error: unknown file format".
I tried jpg, jpeg, gif, png, pdf - all with different sizes. The folder exists, I see the uploaded pictures in the folder - so the upload works, but I still get the error and the picture is not on my site.

What can I try?

First, make sure you are using the latest version of DT Register. Second, make sure in configuration (event listing tab) you have set event images to show. If you can't sort it out, submit a ticket.

I tried several things, but nothing is working. I tried the last 2.7.3c version. I changed my joomla version, I've got MySQL 5.1, PHP 5.2...

I am also getting the same problem here. Seems all the uploaded images are saved in the eventpics folder. But still it shows me Error: unknown file format.

In my config : under Event Listing Show Event Image set to "Yes", DT Register Current Version is : 2.7.4

Any advice why this happens ?

Finally I found the solution for this problem, this because of the 3rd party SEF component such as sh404SEF. This DT Register will not support the sh404SEF component. If I skip the DT Register on the sh404SEF component then this is working for me.

Yes, 3rd party SEF can cause this type of problem. Our FAQ states that you need to skip DT Register in 3rd party SEF components. Glad you found it.
