TOPIC: [SOLVED] Fatal Error from missing core.php

Hi
I am using 2.7.2e with Joomla 1.5.22, and am getting a Fatal error message in dtreg_activity.php on line 16 saying: /devsite/components/com_community/libraries/core.php does not exist.
This happens right after selecting payment.
I have reinstalled several times, and this file still does not exist. Am I missing something? Is there something else that I need to install first?

Do you have the JomSocial component installed on your site? If not, you should NOT have our JomSocial Activity plugin installed (as stated in the readme file). Also, you shouldn't have the JomSocial Records plugin installed either. I'm assuming this is your issue. Please confirm.

I should say that it is indeed clearly indicated this in the install manual, but I am trying to fix someone else's site, and did not notice that they had installed these components. I read about similar problems with 2.7.2c in the forum, which is what they had installed, and had done the upgrade to e and now 2.7.3 hoping that would fix it...each time carefully NOT installing these components, but also not noticing that they were already there.

Thank you VERY much. The client will be greatly relieved that this is now working.
