TOPIC: [SOLVED] Upgrade to 2.7.2b - Can't Complete Registration

I just upgraded to 2.7.2b - have 2 registration forms w/same issue.

Form #1 - Complete required fields and click "Next Step" - result is blank white page with only "Your total Registration cost: $ 25.00". There are no other page elements and can't check out. Registration data is not submitted to database.

Form #2 - Complete required fields and click "Next Step" - result is completely blank white page.

On both the page URLs show as index.php?option=com_dtregister&Itemid=0.
Could itemid=0 be the issue?

Edit: I also noticed that most of the database tables use utf8_general_ci compilation, but that some of the DTRegister files latin1_swedish_ci compilation. Would this have an effect on this registration process?

Upgraded to 2.7.2e with same results.

Resolved. I opened all fields and re-saved as per the upgrade instructions, however it is also necessary to change required fields for a particular form from "Default" to "Individual", "Group" or "Both".

Side note... while I'm glad you got things sorted, it is NOT required to change fields in the event from Default to anything else. What IS required, as given in the upgrade instructions... when upgrading from 2.6 to 2.7, you need not only re-save each of your fields, you need to re-save each event. What that will do is establish correct database info for the fields and everything else for the event.

There are just many changes in the database from 2.6 to 2.7 so this is why these extra steps are required. When upgrading for 2.7.x to another updated version of 2.7, you won't have to do those extra steps again.

Really - I did re-save the events before posting here (there were only 2). In fact I went through the upgrade instructions twice - opened and saved all events and all fields. Only when I changed the required fields did they show on my registration form and allow the registration to process.
