Greetings,

I am working on a Joomla! 1.5 website running DT Register 2.6.9c (I'll be upgrading to 2.7.x later). The old website is running Joomla! 1.0.15 and DT Register 2.4.6.

When I started creating the new site I imported all the data from thew old website (no problems there). Since then the client has opened up a new event, and has taken a number of registrants.

My question is, how can I add just that new information/event to the new website so no information is lost when the new website goes live?

Many thanks.

Best,
Micah

Micah,

The easiest route may be to just manually register those new records on the new site using the backend manual registration option. You already have all of the info. Of course, if there are 1000 new registrations, that wouldn't be a good option. How many do you need to move? If it's a lot, then you'll probably want to put the data together and manually load it into the new database. That's a lot messier of course, so the manual registrations would be the cleanest route.
