DT Register 2.7.2e
Joomla 1.5.20
Community Builder

Since starting to use the 2.7(.2e) DT Register, registering to an event as a guest user to an event where one is being forced by DT Reg to create username and pwd creates two registration records with identical confirmation numbers and double emails to the registrant and to administration. The first registration record includes the new user name and all registrant info while the second record includes everything else but not the user name.

Anyone else had this problem / solved it?

Cheers Ben

Yes, this week this happened, but I have resolved the issue.

I decided to change my calendar ovr from JEvents to DTH. I created new joomla! articles for the events, then created the registration for each event. I created a few articles and tested and deleted records, but not events.

I then used the "Remove JEvents Sync". I had duplicate events, though obviously not all fields were duplicated. Testing registration gave me duplicate registration records.

I should have used the "Remove JEvents Sync" first before creating the same event in DTH. I had to be careful deleting the correct events because of ID numbers etc. and details articles being linked to the events.

All is working properly now.

Thanks for the information! I made a clean install of 2.7 and do not use JEvents at all anymore so my problem is something else.
