I need some assistance in getting my DT Reg shopping cart working on my front page. I turned on the option for the shopping cart. Now I need to know how to get it to display.
My menu currently directs the user to the list of events but when you click on an individual event it takes you directly to the registration form. How can I set things up so the shopping cart appears?
At present, I have two upcoming events. One is scheduled for March 5 and is $69. The second one is scheduled the following week and is $97. I want to create a $17 discount for people who sign up for both events. What is the easiest way of doing this? Do the training videos cover this item?
One way that occurred to me is to provide a discount code in the e-mail confirmation of the first event. People can then use this discount code when registering for the second one. However this is a bit clumsy and does not allow the shopping cart to be used.
Howard, there is not currently a method of clicking to view the cart contents. It only shows after going through the registration process. We'll be modifying this more later.
There is also not a way to give an automatic discount when registering for multiple events at one time.
Yeah, that would probably be the way to go. For prerequisites, you can use specific events OR a category. You can select one or more individual events as the prerequisite... or you can select a category which means ANY ONE event from that category will cover the prerequisite need.
