Hi,

i need to upgrade to the latest version but i have a problem: in addition of language files I modified some .php and .js files because of hardcoded language labels, so i was asking myself if from 2.7.2 to 2.7.2e i can simply compare the files into ne new pacage with the ones into the package i installed, and install/copy just the newer or modified on my website.

Thanks in advance for answer

Sure you could compare the files... from the initial 2.7.2 to 2.7.2e there would be a pretty good amount of files changed. You could also unzip the package and check the dates on the files to see which ones have newer dates. You most definitely NEED to update though. Not sure what hard-coded language labels you have found. Shouldn't be any. If you have found some, shoot them over in an email and we'll address those so you don't have an issue like this in the future.

I modified validate.js file changing section "messages: {" (starting from line 511)
Maybe there were a better and clearly way to change that labels language but i didn't found.

In addition to this, i had to change a little the italian language file () because of some wrong wrote keys:

changed DT_VIEW_DETAILS -> DT_VIEW_DETAIL (wrong key)
changed DT_TAX_OF -> DT_TAX (wrong key)
added DT_PAYMENT=Pagamento (was missing)

hope it will be useful
