TOPIC: DT Register working VERY SLOW

Hi folks,
An upgrade to the c version seems to have solved the issues with DT Register not working for some people trying to register and getting "blank" registration records but all the people I had run a test registration said the same thing: it was way slow.
It seems slow to move to the next page/screen and slow to populate the info (like fee amount, confirm info, etc.). It was also slow before the upgrade but then it seemed to time out or something and didn't even complete the registration process. So, what is causing to run so slowly? Other pages on the site seem to run OK. I have a test event set up that is pretty simple to test it and when I register I notice it runs slowly too.
I hope there is a way to make it function better... some people end up aborting because it takes so long for a page to load when registering.

Just to say alaskan I am running 2.7.2c as well
I have been hammering it testing for a big reg day this weekend
I did about 10 in 10 minutes and noticed absolutely no speed decrease
In fact it is even faster than most of my other page loads
Is their anyway you could set up a mirror of your site on another server?
