System J!1.5.22
DT 2.7.2c 23-jan-2011
Using individual registrations only and "pay later"

1)When I update any event settings in the back-end (or open the event and then save without even changing anything) all my registration and payment records are gone.

Please advise what can be to prevent this.

2) sort order of repetitive events is in the back-end strange and seems random. Going through this list to disable a few is a nightmare.
Is there anyway how these events can be put in the correct order, preferably by date would be oke, but by id is also workable as the record id's are in the same order as the dates?

UPDATE
When using "pay at the door" and public registrations (automatic Joomla record is turned off) the reservations are created without a UserId. Then whenever you open the event list and press save, all reservation records are deleted!

It does not matter if you change anything or not at the events. it will always delete the records which have no userid.

Please advise any fix!

Hello. No one else has reported anything like this and I can't replicate it either. Please submit a ticket so we can check your actual site. Thanks.

I did a full clean install of J15.22 and DT register 2.7.2d and the problem persists.

I have also tried the same on your online demo system and concluded that it has exactly the same issues of loosing records when at least the following conditions are met:
In the event "Joomla User Auto-Creation" is set to "No"

Test:
1. When registering (thru front end) choose "Pay at the door"
2 .Go to backend and check that the event registration record is indeed created
3. Check this record and you see that there is no UserID (field says "select user")
4 .Close the record viewing.
5. Open the event for which was registered. Just click save
6. Go to the records list and you'll see that the registration record is gone.

If one repeats above test but select a user for the record (step 3 above) and save the record.
If you then open the event and save it, the registration record is not removed.

This is an issue only with repeating events... as when you re-save the first event of a repeat, it re-creates all of the repeats... so the records are gone as those event IDs are dropped. It's not supposed to let you do something that deletes the events when records already exist, but it's not... so we'll get that fixed. That is the reason though.

This will NOT happen with regular non-repeating events. Making necessary changes to the re-saving of repeating events now.
