Fresh install of DT 2.7.2 Joomla 1.5.22
Created a new Discount code, saved and Published
Created new Event, assigned Discount code

Register for event do not enter Discount Code
click Next Step goes to next form and goes through fine.

Register for event this time enter Discount Code
click Next Step
will not go to next form

This sounds the same problem as my posting titled ' Registration process locks up when Discount Code field used' dated 20th Dec.
I have found a temporary work around of using the member discount field in the event rather than a discount code. Hope this helps until dthadmin can provide a proper fix
