TOPIC: Event Details + mod_dt_upcoming_event

Heya,

Now that JEvents isn't being used and we're keeping things in-house, I've created details pages/articles for my events.

In mod_dt_upcoming_event, the "Link to" setting is set to the registration page and that's nice because my regulars can cut to the chase and just sign up. However, this probably isn't the best route to go because then newer folks won't see the details to help orient them.

It would really be handy if it'd be possible to have the Details Article be a separate link within the mod_dt_upcoming_event module. (Akin to showing the Location and Price within mod_dt_upcoming_event.) This way frequent/regular users have one less click to get to the signup page. They wouldn't need to read the event details.

Is there a way to have this functionality as-is and I'm missing it, or is this a Wish List item?

You can set the module to link to the Details article OR to registration. There isn't a feature currently to have a separate details link. We'll look at adding that.
