I know it is possible to make a partial payment upon registration for an event. When one goes to make a payment with the Events User Panel, it appears that one can only pay the remaining balance and not make another partial payment.

Is it possible to make multiple partial payments until the balance is paid? If not, I would like to make this a feature request.

You make the initial payment during registration. Additional payments can be made in the User Panel. If you are using that, you'll need to have users login prior to registration or create a user account during registration. User panel functions are available only when logged in. Create a User Panel menu item to get the link to those features. Thanks.

Then the User Panel is not working correctly. As I said, when you log in and click the Pay Now button in the User Panel, you are simply taken to PayPal to pay the full amount. There is no option given to make a partial payment. I am using 2.7.2a.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. The user panel is the method of making an additional payment... but it is currently not configured to support partial payments at that stage. That is something that remains for development.

Can you give us a timeframe on adding multiple partial payments? We had assumed that this was possible when we read that DT Register supported partial payments.

Multiple partial payments is important for churches who would like to give people the opportunity to make payments over time for expensive events like children's camps.

I can't even get the partial payment to work just paying the balance from the user panel.

And I would like multiple partial payments too. Our site is for a non-profit organization with similar needs and requirements as yours.
