We just upgraded to 2.7.2 and I was hoping this might be resolved, but it's still an issue.
Things are working fine with setting capacity and the waiting list is kicking in as it should. The proper messages are also displayed when filling out the form and the proper "Thank you" message displays at the end.
The problem is with the email that gets sent. It has the same default "you are registered..." subject line and is the same email that registered users get. People are getting confused and thinking they are registered. I don't see an item to configure a "waiting list" email so I don't think this is a bug, but something that may have been overlooked.
Not a deal breaker, but annoying.
The admin email is also the same so it's hard to tell who is registered and who is waiting - especially because the status does not automatically come in as "waiting", but as whatever the default status is set to in the config.
We've resorted to other options (having people email us
) but we use the waiting list A LOT and it would be nice to have things run a little smoother.
That all having been said, thanks for some of the new updates! Nice to see CSV exports behaving again as well as the new update attendance button.
