Problem with Event Pricing/Group Registration Rates:
I am trying to add group rates, like 2 people = $90.00/person, 3 people = $80.00/person, etc. They add properly when I add them and save. but after adding them, when I edit anything else in the event and save, it deletes all of the group rates that I added except for 1. It won't keep more than 1.
I've seen somewhere else that it is said that this is the way that it is supposed to be. It really is bad and I consider it a bug. I shouldn't have to re-enter this every time I look at my event. If I forget to do it, then things go bad with the pricing.
Nathan - this has not been reported prior to you. The other post you are probably referring to is for the older 2.6 series where you could not add multiple group rates AFTER the event was created. It's not like that now so those threads are not even valid now.
From what I can see in testing this, I only saw group rates dropped if any of the rates were "Flat Rate". Anyway, issue known now so we'll get a fix for it quick.
I can verify this was happening with 2.7.1d
I set up 1-10 member groups with a price of $60
( This is for family memberships )
eg
1 member = $60
2 Members = $60
3 Members = $60
etc etc
But when I saved it it only showed
10 members =$60
All my other groups were deleted
And yes it was set to flat rate
We have just updated the 2.7.2 package to include a fix for this issue. The version number is not changed. Just made a couple tweaks and got this fix out for you quickly. Some other items will be added shortly and then we'll rename the package. This issue is fixed now though if you re-download 2.7.2.
