Greetings,

I have 2.7.1.c installed and running. Most things look stable so far, so congrats!

I have a question about the JEvents. Everything I had in JEvents is listed in the system since I did the migration. I assume the migration moves the JEvents data into the new tables so it is part of the DT Register application now.

When would I click the "Remove JEvents Sync" button on the configuration page and what exactly does it do? I can't seem to remember seeing that information anywhere.

Nathan, can you provides some details about what this does and when it should be used?

Thanks!
Dave

Glad all is well :) After migrating, the sync with JEvents is still there. Data IS pulled from JEvents into the new DT Register tables, but the title, date and time must still be managed via JEvents until you unsync them. If you want to drop the use of JEvents completely, click the unsync button. You should backup your data first just in case anything goes weird. All that it does though is remove data from one field in the DT Register event database that links it to a JEvents item. Nothing is changed in JEvents at all.

After running the unsync tool, JEvents will no longer have any connection to your events... now fully manageable in DT Register!

Thanks for the info... the next question is, if I leave the sync there until those events are complete, can I add new events right within DT Register and have combing JEvents and DT Register events listed?

Yes, you can leave the old events sync'd and still create new events directly in DT Register. You can have both at the same time. No problem.
