Hi,

The UAE currency is not among the default payment currencies.
How/where can I add this (which file, and where is it?)
Or how can I remove the $ sign and just leave it neutral?

thx
Chris

I also have this problem. I need to be able to select TWD- New Taiwan Dollars.

Also, there are no decimals. The smallest unit is NT$1, I don't want the tax calculator to add .04 to the cost.

tmwc - just added TWD to your site through your ticket. Chris (and anyone else), to add a missing currency in 2.7.x, go to this file:

/administrator/components/com_dtregister/models/currency.php

You'll find a list of currencies. Add a new line like this:
'UAE'=>'United Arab Emirates Dirham',

Add it exactly like you see here, just don't put it at the end of the list. Anywhere else is fine.

The next package update (this week) will include both TWD and UAE by default. Thanks.

Can you also add INR Indian Rupees?
If possible can you add the new Rupees symbol?

BodgeIT - INR is also included by default in the newer versions of DT Register and actually has been for a long time. To add it to the Joomla 1.5 version, you can add it to the currency.php file as noted above.

The currency symbol was handled differently in 1.5 than it is now, making it more restricted to what you could pull in. You'll likely have to stick with just "INR" within a 1.5 site, but should see the currency symbol when using 2.5 and newer.
