TOPIC: multiple issues after upgrade from 2.6.9 to 2.7.1c

I am using joomla 1.5.20 and just upgraded to dt register 2.7.1c from 2.6.9

I upgraded the site from 2.6.9 to the latest 2.7.1c

I am having the following problems:

1. I am experiencing the bug where if you do not put a value in "event capacity" if you select group registration it says the event is full but lets you register anyway, even if the waiting list is disabled.

2. No matter what payment method is used, when you confirm and submit it goes to a blank content area. I have tried this with and without a custom thank you page. for some reason the thank you text will not show up no matter what.

3. if you choose detailed registration, it asks for the members info then it goes to a screen that asks for info, but there is no description of what the info is for. Logically, I can deduce that this is for the person registering the event. but I think the average user will get lost here. This needs to be first in the sequence and needs to have a clear heading like "info of person creating the registration"

4. On detailed group registration this last screen that asks for info (see #3 above) should be pulling in the logged in user's profile data so they dont have to re-type it. it is not

5. in IE 7 and 8 ONLY I am getting a non-secure items error when switching to SSL. I do not get this problem in Firefox 3

Thanks for sharing this. While I cannot be of much help, I have been holding off on an upgrade from 2.6.9 to 2.7 for fear of issues like this.

I am curious about your SSL issue: are you using the SSL plugin? We've been have significant SSL issues with DT Register -- I have a support ticket into on this topic and am waiting for help. The SSL issue is one I will dedicating significant time to shortly so I may have thoughts to share on this topic.

Were you getting the SSL issue in 2.6.9?

I'd appreciate any detail you can share on the SSL topic.

greyson - please update to the new 2.7.2. Many issues have been resolved. There was also a 2.7.1d before this new package. Also update our plugins and module. If you have any remaining issue, put it in a ticket.

Regarding the SSL warning, that is not coming from DT Register. That is the annoying IE warning that shows on any site when you load a secure URL but the page has some non-secure items being called in. These would be images, javascript files, CSS files, etc that are called in with absolute URLs instead of relative URLs. This is probably coming from your template or maybe another module/plugin on your site. Thanks.
