We just purchased DT Register and I am trying to set up booking for some golf simulators.
We have 7 simulators.
Minimum booking is 1 hour.
We have one price before 4pm and a higher after 4pm as well as week-ends.
Customer must be able to choose several time slots.
Up to 4 people can play at the same time, but we only rent per simulator, not per person. So no need to keep track of groups.
I have set up a category called Simulator.
I have made locations for each simulator (don't know if this is needed)
Question 1:
Should I make one field per timeslot, or should I make one field with multiple checkboxes?
Question 2:
What do I use as start and end times for the event?
Question 3:
As price will be calculated based on the timeslots chosen, should I set the base price for the event to sero?
Question 4:
I have seta limit of 1 for each timeslot in a checkbox field. Should I set the limit for the base event to unlimited to avoid conflicts?

How do I set things up so it is repeating? I need to repeat one event mon-fri and another on the week-ends (different opening times). So this is what I did:

How can I display this in a nice manner for the staff? As fields are not bound to any calendar, how can they get a calendar view of what the bookings look like?
Sorry to ask such basic questions, but I am trying to get my head around the philosophy of the ext. as fast as possible as we really need to get this up and running fast.
